TWO DAYS CAMPAIGN AGAINST CLIMATE CHANGE

With all excitement and motivation first day with fruitfulness began from Bhirkutimandap where bus was waiting for all 100 participants. While trying to be punctual i reached before arrival time given by GPS(Global Power Shifter)Nepal team. It was weird to wait for my friends in between more than 30 participants whom i had never met before. Oh! Finally they arrived after 15 minutes thank god. As we got signal that we were about to begin our trip to Nagarkot we were smart enough to step first on the bus.....no doubt that i reserved a corner window seat , a place where i feel good while travelling. Nepal shaping its Intended Nationally Determined

Climate change is a complex term to understand. Some realize it as a critical issue and situation while others ignore it citing it a natural process.The Earth has been experiencing drastic changes in its biosphere. According to NASA, within 64 years (from 1950 to 2014), the carbon dioxide level (ppm) has increased from about ppm to around ppm.The change had never been above ppm in 650,000 years. According to scientists, in last century, the global sea level rose about 6.7 inches while the rate of increase has nearly doubled in the past few decades alone. The climate change is melting snow caps in Himalayas while the Greenland and Antarctic ice-sheet have decreased in mass—about 150 to 250 cubic km of ice per year, according to NASA. Various countries have made efforts in mitigating and adapting the affects and vulnerabilities of the climate change. Fixing Climate Change

Earth has been experiencing drastic changes in its biosphere. This year 2015 has been recorded as hottest year and we have observed impacts of Climate Change such as droughts, extreme events, heat waves, sea level rise which is causing an alarming impact on food, water, ecosystems, lives and human health. Among species human are the most adaptive to changing the environment but until the climate system reaches its tipping point. A 4°C warmer world can, and must be, avoided – we need to hold warming below 2°C," said World Bank Group President Jim Yong Kim.
